Private 4G/5G Networks

Private 4G/5G Networks offer greater security, reliability, performance and customization, making them increasingly important for many industries and applications.

The increasing number of network users causes difficulties in accessing public network resources or even makes it impossible. For this reason, in places particularly sensitive to disturbance (such as overload) in functioning of the network, it is recommended to implement private access networks. This can be achieved, for example, by installing micro base stations working in the appropriate wireless frequency band. This solution can provide simultaneous data transmission (only for authorized users), as well as enable them to transmit broadband data to devices outside of the range of a private network (i.e. in the Internet).

Such a private network has its own Core, thanks to which, even in the event of loss of the backhaul connection, it allows communication between authorized users. Private access networks are also characterized by a higher transmission speed, prioritization and security of transmission crucial for end users or utility applications.

On many occasions, private LTE access networks are utilized in industrial establishments, crisis management services and in places with increased telecommunications traffic, such as airports or shopping centers.

Private access networks are an alternative or supplement to Wi-Fi. Primary advantage of a private LTE network may be lower susceptibility to spectral interference, including those caused by other technical infrastructure, which translates directly into greater coverage and fewer necessary access points, and thus reduction of total investment costs. An additional advantage of private networks is lack of the need toinstall a fiber backhaul network.
